You will provide technical consultation and direction to the development teams including deployment best practice and technical guidance on SharePoint best practice. The successful candidate for this role will join the Architecture Team for the website. The technical teams, including Architecture, Development and Support are based in Leeds with the business teams are based in London. The main focus of the successful candidate will be to provide technical direction and consultation to the development teams. The role will require the investigation of new techniques and technologies to ensure the most appropriate solution is developed. The successful candidate will be an experienced developer with exposure of leading development teams on complex projects using waterfall and agile methods. The candidate  will be required to develop POC’s that can be passed to the development team to progress. The successful candidate will be an advocate of coding best practices together with test driven development. The successful candidate will be required to take the businesses specifications and produce technical specifications for the development teams. The successful candidate will have to gain an in-depth knowledge of the architecture of the existing solution to ensure that development of the Technical Specifications is not dependent on developer resource.
