The new event for the New Year
Everyday a new initiative for skills or careers is published. The changes are rapid and fundamental, and keeping up-to-date requires time, energy and resources.
If only it could be easier.
The National Career Guidance Show happening at the Emirates Stadium next March, will give you a chance to get the latest knowledge from career providers, learn from top expert speakers and meet up with colleagues at this friendly, informal and relevant event. Free to visit, it’s your opportunity to share best practice, whether you are looking for specific information or an overview of the latest policies and changes.
The event is ideal for you whether you are a career adviser, teacher or practitioner within the professional career guidance sector working with schools, colleges or universities including Connexions PAs, learning mentors, JobCentre Plus advisers, or in recruitment and employment agencies working within either the adult or young people sectors.
Taking place on 3 and 4 March 2010 and being organised by Prospects Events and the Institute of Career Guidance, sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills the National Career Guidance Show is further supported by OCR and VT Lifeskills.
Throughout the two days there will be two free seminar theatres sponsored by CILT (National Centre for Languages) with relevant seminars focussing on insights into the policy, professional and delivery issues that you face everyday in your work giving you access to high quality and free CPD training. Event sponsor the Department for Business Innovation and Skills will host two seminars; there will be a keynote address from UKCES (UK Commission for Employment and Skills) and seminars from NHS Careers and OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations). The complete seminar timetable will be ready online at the end of 2009.
